Looking for places to live in Madrid..!

Ok ok, Sooooo, My girlfriend is moving to Madrid at the end of November. Does anyone know of any good places to look for accomodation over there? Web sites? Or a Gumtree Sorta thing? Where do people in Madrid look when they are looking for a place to live?

Or alternatively even better. Does anyone know someone in Madrid that might have a room to rent for a few months starting around December 3rd? She's a mighty fine girl and comes with rent money in hand and ready to go. So no worries about skipping out. I wish I was as responsible and clean as she is.
