You might be able to get a pair of Sidis cheap at this time of year - a lot of places are selling this year's models off cheaply to clear space for next year's stock.
Failing that, Northwave are pretty good shoes for the price from what I hear and I've also heard people speak highly of the DHB (from Wiggle) range.

loads on chainreaction. I've always got on with cannondale gear (shoes, shorts), seems to get reduced heavily to a more sensible price.

Good point, especially if you're gonna buy 2nd hand, online or off of the bay. Always recommend trying them on in a store first.
I usually wear EU44 but am EU46 in Sidi's!

Sidi do have narrow fitting...but a normal sizing....cause I have a fat foot....:0

Megas are 12.5mm wider in the metatarsus area (wide part)
Lorica that sidi uses doesn't stretch at all so will be ok 2nd hand apart from someones foot aids.
(breaths and dries better than leather though)
just got some time aliums (2009 ones are all matt black - which is nice) id like domintors but they are bit out of my price range, can anyone recommend a cheaper alt. have about £60 to spend.
