I did use Muc Off to get rid of the grease though, so it's fine.
Better than people pissing in the shower I think.

One of the quickest ways to clean a bike if you don't have access to an outdoors water hose.
Just don't tell the wife.

Yup, and Nitromorsed a frame and forks in the bath too, bathrooms are made for this stuff, all tough tiles that come clean no matter what you do. (leave the cleaning to flatmate / other half)

I used to work as a lifeguard while at Uni in a pool in Brighton where a co-worker kept all the stolen bikes he tried selling to us/the customers in the staff showers...

I just ride my bikes through puddles/canals/rivers/lakes and let nature do the rest. :)
