bloody hell, 11? that's amazingly young, poor kids, I can only imaging how terrifed the driver must've been.

Apologies to all If thats how it reads, I Really REALLY, wasn't trying to be funny, It just seemed massively inappropriate to have that on the article.
Why Don't they do cycling proficiency any more??? I had no idea they stopped doing it, it could have saved this poor kids life.
Of course my heart goes out to the family and the driver, its awful.

Not that it would have made any difference but I'd been on at one of the women from the highways dept. during one of their visits to my daughters school before the summer holidays about running something along the lines of the old cycling profficency test for those that remember it but they said it wasn't run anymore.
