Platini you are a knob!
That may well be the case, but it wasn't me asking the stupid question...

Apologies Platini. But what's stupid about the Q? Might have been badly phrased is all!
Accepted. I just thought it was obvious to park outside the zone and use public transport/bike the rest of the way. Hence the light-hearted response...

We've booked a room at Holiday Inn Earls Court
Which has 30 parking spaces @ £15 a day and is outside the congestion charge zone.
Are you the village idiot where you live? ;p

We've wangled free parking and we thought we'd make sure we could avoid the congestion charge is all.
Thanks for your non-help!Let me get this straight - you came onto a London based fixed gear forum, asked for advice to avoid the congestion charge, are actually staying in a hotel outside the congestion charge zone and have now got the hump because we didn't help you?
Hmmm.

don't get too carried away with the electric lights and all that, technology can't hurt you.
don't stare at the shining lights or the talking box in the corner of the room, if the locals see you are an outsider you will be robbed at gunpoint.if i see a couple dressed in 80's style clothing i'll say hello.
