  • Show us what you've got! Upload photos of your OTP steed.

To the build-it-up-yourself mob, you are excused, to discuss the merits of titaniun versus scanium, and waiting lists for Mercians and whatnot, elsewhere.

If its a standard OTP, show it.

If you've modded your OTP, show it.

Whether it cost £225, or £1,450, if its OTP, just show it.

This is the showcase for Bowerys to Blackjacks.

Try for unusual photos if you can.

  • wheres the list?... i want to know im sure other people do to:

    1, Shinscar 5ft2 9st, 49cm C/C, english threading, £499, E1, double D, size 6 1/2.

  • Ray you're a funny facker. You haven't got an OTP, so what are you up to?

    :))

  • my frames OTP. surly. thanks its great.

  • don't all OTP's look the same?

  • Bianchi Pista 2008, entirely standard with the expection of;

    • MKS pedal (with NJS cage and cheap strap from Condor)
    • Nitto bullhorn drop
    • San Marco Rolls saddle
    • Tiagra brake with dirty harry levels, does the job now and for insurance purpose and emergency use.

the bike look quite clean and tidy, but in reality it's very scruffy with lots of marks and a couple tiny dents from the d-lock, didn't care, just love the ride.

that it, thought I have Mavic Open Pro in black for the front and rear wheel coming soon to complete the bike (and black Nitto seatpost with black shorter glossy stem).

  • alright then

My Fuji Track, bit of a respray (done with can and masking tape) new wheels and new handlebars.

I still love it, even though she's bike number 2 now

  • You've hidden the Fuji pretty well there bristly. Top marks!

  • cheers,

it was ridden pretty much as stock for a good few years, until I found this forum, then suddenly everything in my life went strange colours and more expensive. You've all got a lot to answer for!

  • Glad this thread is not about mail-order-brides / husbands.

  • BP you DO LIKE your PINK!!!!!!

  • Glad this thread is not about mail-order-brides / husbands.
did you watch the program on ITV last night, very creepy!

you and me both, I did a puppy killing on my peugeot due to the LFGSS.

  • @ dogsballs - No TV. I think it is that Dawn lady and it is on bbc_iplayer though?

  • go on GA2G, you know you're just making an excuse to show off your Cannondale, what are you waiting for??

  • This is my Cannondale Capo 5 [2008]. Its only mods are the pedals, and added lights.

The shots are only basic, with some obvious tomfoolery.

  • Ed, its still not as nice or classy as your Bianchi Pista.

My soon to be modded Bowery will be a different kettle of perch.

  • Bloody hell....i thought this thread was gonna be a link to a place to buy 'Off the peg lovers'...:(

  • This is for dogs...

    ;p

    Changes:

    Chopped Brooks B17
    Crank Bros Smarty pedals
    Thomson stem
    Cane Creek lever
    Shimano Ultegra caliper
    Bottle-cage (because I want to)
    Trad drop-bars
    Brooks leather bar-tape

    :)

  • I'm a bit confused about the track bar position - is that a normal position? or the drop part being more horizontal is the more accurate position?

  • ^ i agree horizontal is correct but each to their own specs for comfort or personal style

  • Horizontal definitely correct especially if using the drops. Angled up is good if you hold the top sides though so probably a sign of someone who doesn't use the drops.

  • Giant Bowery
Read tyre changed for a continental with red stripe top.
    rear brake removed
    Gold Finger brake
    Stealth mode using electrical tape.
    and thats it for now.
    oh and its fixed.

I personally love the bike, it fits perfectly and is light, responsive etc.... my only advice to anyone buying one would be tighten everything as soon as you get it then once every two weeks.

    photo from today.

  • Nice, but lay off the USM, my eyes are bleeding ;-)

  • dont use it, lol. its lucis art.
