My bike is 56cm, ive been thinking of parting with it because it is a little large for me.
Would be wanting around half your budget (I havent thought about price?). you get a choice of drops or risers.
if your at all interested, ill give you a parts spec, most of the important stuff on the bike is new.

just been reduced - above your budget but worth a look

i'm looking to sell my commuter bike, just bought a new one. a superb genesis flyer 56cm.
frame has been taped up - so it's good as new. no scratches. have replaced the original tyres with Armadillo Elite Specialized All Condition - Kevlar road tyres. No punctures. flip-flop hub, currently on fixed. else, all original parts.
it's a great ride, and i've enjoyed it immensely. £350.

nice bike, but i think it is to big.
I am buying the bike for a friend, who has been riding a super nice italian modolo from the cicli-berlinetta shop en berlin. But it was with tubs, so now he is selling the old one for a new one.
just post anything you find interesting.
thanks

They're selling the whole bike cause it's got tubs!??!?!??!?!?!??!
-
• #10
actually yes :)
Also because he is an idiot with bikes, can't even use the quick relase on the front wheel.
And that does'nt work when you have a 1500 grand bicycle with full campagnolo super record.he was an idiot buying it in the first place.

that's far too much, he want a steel single speed frame with wheel, he didn't need the crank, the pedal, the cog, the saddle, the handlebar.. in fact, just the frame and the wheel, apparenty!

if anyone has any cheap wheelsets to fit 27 x 1 1/4 tires going, the rear having a fixie hub would be greatly appreciated? willing to spend up to £70.
-
• #22
That's better j,ar. A sensible post.
But, why are you looking for a wheelset to match tyres? Do you have a frame built for 27" wheels?
-
• #23
yes I'm converting an old Raleigh (not sure of the model) and i've got some tires but the wheels are shot big time like.

You might want to have a look at ebay. These are a bit expensive but some older, used ones might appear..
