Ahhh! You bring back some memories man, so I feel the need to spout some local history!
the tower across from snobs is the paradise/holiday inn (i forget!)
the complex around it used to be the main & favourite skate spot in Birmingham.
that and central library used to be crammed. The surface, ledges, steps & rails at holiday inn were all perfect. But the hotel and their goons hated it.
So much so they used to get into regular fights with skaters, and eventualy resorted to installing anti-skate metal fittings on all the ledges and rails. The council then followed suit changing the paving outside central library.
thankfully the council then opened some small free skateparks around the city, but together it all ended the buzzing city centre skate scene.
Well anyway, up for practicing silly tricks. if we get kicked off theres tons of other places we can go, not so limited as skateboards.
Mailbox (nice covered lit bit),
centenary square (got grass for practicing wheelies),
st philips square (emo & goth kids fest),
under aston expressway/triangle bit (large covered area with flat banks),
The roof of bull ring/selfridges car park. (nice view, decent surface)
the large development spot on curzon st in front of millenium point (large secluded empty space)
Millenium Point (Nice big car park, with small banked bit, brick paved surface though) -

I'm up for thursday night, defo
Sometime this week it'd be nice for all of us to meet up for some stunt or a small ride in the center of birmingham to meet each other and have some fun. I was thinking meeting up under the tower block opposite Snobs (anyone know what it's called) as it's a large well lit open area and it it starts raining there's even a little covered area. Maybe wednesday evening?
Also i shall use this thread to ask if anyone has some riser bars and a short stem i can relive them of for some £?
