Distressing mistress in distress

can anyone help? Just arrived to central, I have a problem with my seat post, it is stuck pretty badly within frame. I forgot to grease it for a while, but now I cannot get it out. I remember smallbrownbike talking about a workshop on sundays. Is that still on? Can anyone help me fix this? I did go to Condor but they quoted me 40GD and heating the frame, I can't afford that yet. Thanks lfgss.

Can meet anywhere, really need to get this fixed asap, as seat pin not secured to post. A beer in it for you or two or three!!

How long is it since you moved it? Is it an alu post in a steel frame? Is it a seat clamp or pinch bolt?

alu seatpost in steel cromo frame ( steamroller) I last moved it several months ago. With seat clamp, though seat clamp has been removed.

is it rideable? because i am going home, (grab tools) but could meet you in brixton at south london beers and give it a go there.

sheldon = put a crappy seat on it and hit the fucker as hard as you can whilst twisting, a bit neanderthal but it works.

p.s. remember to bring the seatclamp.

cant put crapy seat on it or anything as I literally just landed, my tool collection is rubbish anyway. Yes it is rideable just makes me nervous and would like it fixed, seat clamp not able to go slide over frame to clamp.
