I think you want what I've got.
Pedal spanner on one end, and a double sided socket on the other, 14 & 15mm in size.
I couldn't tell you what make it is though, I've had it years. The handle is red and spongy.
I'm not helping much, am I?

A ring spanner will enclose the nut, but it won't be as heavy as a tool with a detachable socket. I use something much like this:
Just go to a normal, bog-standard tool shop and you'll save money. Nothing bike specific.

On second thoughts, you probably don't want a spanner that says "King Dick" on it.

• #19
fuck me thats it what drinks do you go, I got about 10 15mm spanners i will make you a special one.
-
• #20

Whatever you tit you didnt even know what a ring spanner was, i was gonna get an old 15 or 14 cut the open end off round it off plastic coat hey ho.

Pmsl!
when i'm at home, i use a socket set to tighten the wheel nuts on my bike. i'm about to go to uni and don't really want to lug the whole set around with me, but i can't just take the handle and correct head as other people use the set at home.
so what i'm looking for is a 14mm spanner with a socket set style construction, ie completely enclosing the nut, and with the handle attached on the end of the 'socket". I'm not realy fussed about a ratchet or anything like that.
hmm it's a bit tricky to explain.
i should probably just use an ordinary spanner, but if anyone knows of something similar to what i've described, that would be great.
