iPod genius shuffle selections

Realise a playlist is only as good as the tunes you put in it, but my birthday today and feeling a little blue because a) I haven't heard about a really good job I've had two interviews for yet and b) the girl I went out with on Wednesday, despite having a really good time and a kiss or three, hasn't texted me back so I decided to put some tunes on, while crying into my cider.

Started off with Damian Marley, Welcome to Jamrock, then gave me Coldcut and Roots Manuva, then selected Shake your Rump by Beasties (their best track IMO), and a three song long Fingathing mastermix, then Da Feeling by Dizee Rascal for some hands in the air vibeness, then Peaches and Stuff Me Up, then some Japanese hip hop by Hifana, and just now some old skoolness from Mantronix. Genius I tell you. On going, so I'll keep you posted, whether you want me to or not

It's my hippedy hop playlist, with over 500 tracks on it. Yes Linkin Park/Jay Z sneaked in, but they're like a guilty pleasure, like a custard slice. There's some shite on it too (Mobb deep and Notorious BIG) but so far the ipod hasn't dropped any of it (good ipod). It seems to know I need a lift and chosen the appropriate tracks.
