Interested in the Record levers and the wheels, but without a bit more info on prices I can't really make an offer...

I'll take the BB tool, provided it is not too expensive, and it fits the ah type campag.
Add some prices!

I don't really have prices in mind as my plan for all of it was £0:99 no reserve auctions you see...
BB tool you can have for the price of the postage, which I'm guessing will be about £2. Paypal ok?

Interested, happy to come and get them tomorrow if it's doable.

The stem is 110mm with a bit of a drop. For 1" threaded (quill)
Pickup aint possible unless you're swinging by Liverpool way! But I'm more than happy to post. Make me an offer

Would be interested in a front wheel if you'd split 'em

I'd go for that - don't mind mismatched wheels - more the Campag setup on the back I need.

Oooh sorry chaps, I should have checked here before listing really!
Anyways, everything's on the 'bay now. -

First I get annoyed because you didn't bother checking this thread before listing your stuff, when you've blatantly got interest from people here. How do you forget something like the fact you started a thread - on the same day - to see if there's any interest?
Secondly I'm even more annoyed because you've ended the two auctions I was watching early.
What gives?

I had no offers made on my kit, and as I stated, I was open to offers.
Items were ended early as I'd found a buyer for the wheels, bars and stem and cranks locally and I thought as the items had not been bid up massively on ebay and there way still quite some time left I was OK to pull them. I sent apologetic emails to anyone who had placed a bid explaining the situation.

You had at least three people who were interested in making offers, but you'll find from a search/bit of forum knowledge that the worst thing you can do is post a whole host of stuff and then say the equivalent of 'go on - make me an offer'. You'll get people taking the piss making offers of 10p and plenty of people getting pissed off at not listing a guide price.
Here are a few good examples:

Whenever you list something - either on here or on eBay - you'll have a rough idea of what you want. List that and let people make you offers. It's then up to you to decide if you want to accept.
I haven't got a clue how much a couple of old Veloce wheels or Record shifters are worth. I'm not going to insult you by offering you a fiver for them.
Out of interest, how much did you get for that stuff? Most bids on eBay come in the last couple of hours. I would have put in a bid for the wheels and the crankset - and I would have put in a bid on the Ergos - either the Record ones or Mirage one - but I'm not going to now because of what you did. I'm sure other people will do the same. Fewer bidders = a lower price. It all adds up...

I'm more than used to the way ebay works.
I payed £50 for the wheels, £25 for the crankset and got the bars on a donor bike I bought.
Sold the lot for £120, which I was more than happy with.
This bloke made me an offer, without any prior idea from me what I wanted for the items, and he bought em! Not out of the realms of possibility for you to do the same. Also the excuse of not knowing what they are worth. Research! Check out completed listings on ebay, make comparisons to new prices. You can't tell me you were considering bidding on items on ebay with no idea of their worth? How would you decide on a maximum bid price? -

Not if you think it's fair to end auctions early...
The issue here is the fact that you had people on here who were interested in buying your kit, and wanted to make you an offer, but you didn't give them anything to go on. I would have probably paid £30 for the cranks and up to £60 for the wheels. If you'd put a price on them you could have sold them straight away. I posted a DMR hub a couple of months back - I asked for around £30, got an offer of £25 and sold it for that. I knew it was brand new and retailed for just shy of £40, so priced it accordingly. Only you know the condition of this stuff and so you're the only person who really knows what you'd want for it. Instead of keeping it to yourself and asking for 'offers', just put it out there. You don't have to sell if you don't want to.
As for deciding on a price, I didn't know what they were worth - I still don't, but I'm working on the basis that I can get a set of new Campag Khamsins for about £85, so I wouldn't be willing to pay that for a used wheelset - unless they were pretty spectacular.
I'm going to list this little collection of stuff on ebay this eve, but I thought It'd be worth a post here first. This is all stuff I've acquired during building up a road bike, but It turns out I don't need. Open to offers, pics available if you'd like em.
Bottom bracket tool (BNIB) fits some Campag, SKF, FAG (it's the outside fitting one, if you get me)
Cinelli bar/stem combo. The bars measure 42cm centre/centre, and the stem is 110mm long with a slight drop. Quill.
Both are in great condition
25mm Kalloy seatpost. It's in great condition and has had little use. It has been cut down to 20cm in length though

Campagnolo Mirage 8 speed ergo lever**. (right hand only) As far as I know this item is new, and has never been fitted - it's certainly in great condition
Campag Record ergo levers. The levers have been used and are a bit scuffed, but still work cleanly and smoothly. Huds are in good condition with no rips. 8 speed.
Campagnolo Veloce crankset. The cranks are 172.5mm in length, and are in good condition. There are some light scuff marks, but nothing major. Includes 53 and 39 tooth rings
**
Mavic Open pro rims laced to Campagnolo Veloce hubs.** Included is an 8 speed Campag cassette (13-21). Good condition, lots of braking life left.
