I am recruiting AV installation engineers
We're incredibly busy at the moment and could really do with extra engineers.
We hire on a contract basis so you'd need to be;a) Self employed
b) Set up with an umbrella company (very easy i can help you with that)We currently need someone who is competent with 1st fix wiring, 2nd fix installation of back boxes and brackets, and Final fix installation of speakers, screens, equipment, racks.
Ideally you'd be confident and experienced with all of this and even be able to manage other engineers.
If business stays as good as it is we'll be looking to offer a Full-time salaried position within the next 6 months. This would most likely include a car/van (tbc)

Cool idea!
Nothing going here right now, but normally lots of work for experienced Java and FE developers, occasional Flash role too. I'll update when something comes up or PM for contact details for a bit of speculative.

I have a year and a half's experience as an art handler/technician, covering most aspects of exhibition installation (including refinishing the space/building plinths/AV equipment housing etc.) as well as the handling/packing/storing of art work (paintings/film/sculpture/installations).
I have a CV etc.
Also, if anyone (students etc) is wanting to put on small-scale exhibitions with little-or-no funding or experience, or needs help with curation/all of the above/finding artists, I'll help out for free.

It occurred to me that there are a number of people on the forum who are out of work or unhappy in their jobs and also that there are lots of people who work in the same industries as one-another. (IT, Photography, Design, blah blah)
This forum is more than just a cycling resource, it's a community.
I just thought this might help the jobless lay-abouts and those like me who are struggling with a growing business.
If you, or the company you work for has a vacancy, why not post it here and see if someone has the skills you need?
