Concussion...

i have it, bad.
has anyone on here ridden with concussion before, because i attempted a ride this evening and it was the most weird and scary thing...
forgetting to stop, numb legs, drifting off and other freaky things...

i was just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same thing or had any advice to give, because frankly, im stumped.

Er, don't ride your bike, and see a medical professional asap.

i mean i felt fine all day, so when i got back from school i thought id go for a ride and then everything turned to shit, my bike seemed to bring out the worst in me! why i really started this thread was to see if anyone else had tried it before and had experienced the same kind of things...

Damn, I felt like that the other morning. Was drinking heavily the night before, perhaps I have concussion too?

Yes.. I forgot most of it (the concussed ride). My gf at the time found me asleep at home and then freaked when I told her I'd crashed and blah blah.. No one fucking told me not to go to sleep after concussion wtf?!

Good question. Did you suffer a blow to the head earlier in the day, or are you just describing those weird-out on-the-bike sensations as 'concussion'?

If it's the latter, the technical term for those sensations is 'hormones'.

Ive had all of those things, but probably for a different reason.

I had a bit of an 'episode' a couple weeks back and ended up blabbing it all on here cos I felt like my brain was about to pop.

I got long term problems though, phsychologist said Im a lot like a motorcycle accident victim with frontal lobe damage. I have problems accessing information in my head quickly, even though its all in there things are slow to find their way out when needed and easily become muddled.

During my recent freaky episode, strange things happened I felt well odd, very dizzy and confused. Never felt like that before and thought it could be something serious/permanent. But im back to my usual again now. But still going to see through some investigation.

I got concussion sparring one time. Thanks to the NHS I was up till 2am waiting to have my broken nose looked at in the hospital so by the time I got home it was early doors anyways.

Spent the next day off work and fucking about with the ex in Covent Garden.

Quite enjoyed having it to be honest.

if you've had a whack on the head it would be highly advisable to go to casualty and get an x-ray.

Ignoring concussion could be very serious. It is worth the diabolical wait at the hospital just to be sure that you don't wake up dead or brain damaged.
