Pipe for polo mallet heads?

Been searching for a while online and this forum to find something suitable. Tried buying some HDPE off the McMasters site but they no longer ship overseas apparently.

Anyone know anywhere in england where you can buy suitable pipe for mallet heads?

in the NE polo court there are 4 heads worth of pipe by the back wall

if not any road work for gas or water will do, only things is that can be a 5 meter pipe

Forgot to mention I'm not in London.

cant really justify spending £30 on train tickets down just to get some pipe.

just keep your eye out on roadworks, I'm sure there are plenty of road works in Newcastle just like there are downhere.

Do the hardware stores here have ABS pipe? It's like PVC, but it's black and doesn't break or shatter as easily. Comes in 1.5" and 2". In the US it's like $1 per foot. Super cheap and works great for mallet heads.

yeah we kinda do have piping from DIY stores, but theyre not as strong as the piping they use for gas/water ground works.

kev and some of the french fuckers had the 1.5/2" stuff... so far i havent seen anything like that over this side of the pond. (from the tourney)

In reply to the OP like the above says, a scavenge is a good idea... go out for a little night ride and dont forget your saw! If you are really struggling to find anything pm me and i've got some i can send up.

this place is for gas, no water, the micro pipe is blue.
in the area of Blackfrias, Southwark, Borough is where the water company is working at the moment, plenty of roadworks in every street

I got a piece of 1 inch yellow.
Could be good for a mini mallet comp-prize or something.

the one by the slaughter lamb is all normal one, no micro

I'm after some 50mm (the 'micro') pipe. If anyone spots road works with thin pipe lying around, please let me know and i'll nip out with a hack saw.

I have recently come into possession of a shitload of 63mm gas tubing, purrrfect for your standard heavy-weight polo mallet head. PM me if you need a piece.
