provocative, but SUNDAY?

There are people playing footy there most nights. I wouldn't want to be the first to rock up for a game! But the floodlighting there is fantastic and if we could bag it some time there would be good games.

It seems it's been a while since a new cart made its debut, so lets change that. It's quite near my house (i.e. near Mitcheson/Downham) and unlit, but it's banked, newly surfaced, fixed goals and surrounded by lawn.
Planning to break it in the evening before the tournament with a BBQ and throw-ins, if people are interested. Location to be revealed on the day (although I'm sure people can work it out with Google Maps if they are desperate to find it).

nothing new Tom, has been already played and the impresions were not great, when the ball hit the bank, the ball goes out.
aslo is a comun place for local with dogs, and the dogs fight each other, and it is shit, the fact that they are dog fights is shit.
the nick name is the dog fighting court -

I just had a search and realised that 2 months ago was the 1 year anniversary of downham. We should have done something special for it. Bah.
Belated birthday polo this weekend? -

downham is great, little square for my taste, but great.
but st.pauls (dog fight court), is lovely in the sun. if only it played better, it would be nice for a polo party/bbq.

yeah, but the ball goes out of the court every 20 seconds or so. Lovely spot though.

Great court for spectators. Some of the local players are weird though...

Damn
spotted this little gem today riding home, on the junction of boleyn road and the crossway, completely walled.. little goals, just bigger than our cones, but we can plug them with cones if we like, nice surface (some kind of asphalt, could be a tyre killer only downside! but very grippy)
its as wide as downham road, but longer.. check it out, some games there next week perhaps?
