well i just spent christmas in wales with my first geared bike for 10 years and going down mountains at 50 plus without spinning my legs like a twat was a welcome return to proper cycling, i still prefer my fixed for london but fuck i was screaming for joy down those hills

Spent last week in Derbyshire attacking some serious hills on the Kona Kula I'd left there for my dad to ride - freewheeling felt good. I got on my fixed to go down to Sainsburys this morning, first time on a bike after coming back, not quite awake, bit of a hill, tried to freewheel, came off, looked like a twat.

Might not be worth the extra £500 over the above.
I mean, what's that all about?
