  • Track-standing, bit of a personal question......... to the left or to the right?

  • Like the money maker, to the right.

    I believe only the weak do it to the left.

  • I'm a Rightenger.

  • Right to start but i'm not that good so may end up left then right again

  • I also use this old ditty.
    **
    "Right is right
    Left is pfft."**

    Just in case I forget.

  • Like the money maker, to the right.

    I believe only the weak do it to the left.

    If it has to be part of the equation shouldn't it be used as counter balance?

    I'm a righty myself.

  • Should add to the poll. sitting or standing up?

  • Both sides, very badly, sitting down, I don't find it any easier standing

  • standing! of course! sitting is for teh tricks.

    and to the right...

  • to the left for me, but then if I kick a ball, I use my left foot. Has something to do with it or not?

  • yep.. left foot forward = left footed (most times), and ditto on the other side

  • I am weak and pfft in that case :(

  • I get someone to hold my saddle at every traffic light.

  • Stood up, sat down, one-handed and no-handed.

    Right would be more logical in the UK - the camber of the road makes balance easier. In fact the same is true of the track too.

    Right = regular
    Left = qoofy

    Might try it switch sometime...

  • I'm very sinister, but still trackstand to the right. Weirdo. Currently to be seen around town 'styling' one-handed trackstands which make me look like a rather crap cowboy. Yeehah!

  • The few times I do kick a football about I use my left leg.
    I am right handed but I play stick sports(golf and hockey) as a left hander. Yet if it's only one handed sticks like ping pong I'd do it as a right hander.
    Can't way to try out polo, I'd probably ride the bike backwards pedaling with my hands and holding the polo stick between some toes.

  • I trackstand on yer mamma's porch.

    FREAK! Ambidextrous eh? Or the ability to abuse ones self with both hands.:)

  • I dont bother. Foot standings where its at

  • I now have the Stereo MC's on my internal jukebox thanks to this thread. "To the left,to the right..."

    I think it's more if it's precision I use my right hand and if it needs both hands I'm more prone to doing it as a left hander than not. Maybe.
    I write pretty much the same with either hand. Both make it looks like it's a little kid.

    Connected was a great album. Scary looking singer bloke though. Like a Big Issue vendor.

  • He looked like Blakey from On The Buses. God, these old-time references seem to be coming thick and fast today. I'll have to call Matron...

  • I'm more of a Crapstander:(
