Hillbilly needs to get onto Charge quick for a sponsorship deal. Or at least some coinage for their use of his pic on their site!!
Then plenty of training needed for the 2012 Trackstanding Olympics (they can hold it in the middle of the Velodrome).

FYI. hillbilly has no claim to any money from charge for using an image of him on their blog. if the image was taken on private land with no consent from the landowner then there may be a fee payable to the landowner.
there is no legal claim to remove the image if it was shot in a public place, the only reason to do so would be if it was a defamation of character. i.e. there was a headline underneath the image like this:
TAX PAYERS MONEY USED TO TEACH AIDS VICTIM DRUG ADDICTS TO RIDE BIKES SHOCKER!
which would untrue. -

Wicked! I did speak to this bloke on the day and he said that he would put a pic or 2 up on their site, which I was delighted about.
The only problem with this is I done shite in the trackstand comp and the backward circles(I didnt even manage 1!) But I did win the sprints and got 2nd in the skid comp.
As for getting money from Charge? I'd have to be a lot better than I 'am now(just look at Super Ted). I'am trying to get faster so that I can race track and who knows I might be able to convince them to sort me a deal? Till then I'm going to bask in the glory of a picture. -

which would untrue.hmm. True for a non-commercial enterprise or a public event but this is charge's blog. He might be able to argue with a (very) good lawyer that Charge have increased their sales as a result of this "advertising".
Also, to clarify the private land thing - the photographer has to be standing on private land, not the subject.
irrelevant as he doesn't want the money but y'know, I'm just throwing shapes.

Not so. The photographer could be on publically accessible land and have a clear shot of the subject on private land. However, the conditions and circumstances may afford the subject a reasonable expectation of privacy.

This gets on my tits a bit. Apparently if you're at the alabaster end of the complexion spectrum, people can level inane (and often derogatory) comments at you all day. What's so fucking note-worthy about minimal melanin?
I'll admit I was bullied relentlessly about it as a kid, so it's a sore point, but justified.

Big up!! to all those who spent many a year hiding in the shadows, from the mid day sun.
