You mean you've got the loudest voice? And didn't we talk about starting at the Thames and moving south? I can't remember much as some of the Chug It stories from last night were starting to make me feel a bit sick.

right now we'll be meeting somewhere centrally, preferably south centrally. then from there heading south. No movement orders or venues have been confirmed yet.
If you know of any other bike friendly pubs south of the river put them forward, otherwise we'll work from the list above. -

There's a nice pub on the corner near the bridge on the way from Clapham Junction to Wandsworth Common on Battersea Rise, name escapes me. On a crescented pavement on the right with loads of benches outside....

Meet at the Lavender in Vauxhall?
Add in Skoota's regular pub (which I've forgotten the name of), or the soulless place that has a great view of the river in St George's Wharf - the riverside its called in fact,
Quick scoot along the river front then *either *west for the Nadsworth / Clapham pubs, or East to Camberwell, (the bear etc), then to Brixton, Herne Hill, Crystal Palace finish?

i say camberwell first....then head west.
A drunken discussion at South Beers led to the decision to do a south beers pub crawl before the weather turns against us and its the hardcore left cycling the gritty urban streets.
So this here thread is to discuss the venues, arrange a time, make a list of those who be coming, and get to drinking on the aforementioned date.
We will be drinking from some suitably early time centrally, then heading on a wobbly, drunken mission to hit various pub spots in the southern region of london.
Right now I have these venues gleaned from the original south beers on tour thread.
prince regent (herne hill)
duke of edinburgh (brixton)
the grove (camberwell)
sun and doves (camberwell)
half moon (herne hill)
hermits cave (camberwell)
the ship (wandsworth)
and the greyhound (dulwich village)
if you have any others in mind, do feel free to post, we (meaning me and the other regulars of south beers) will decide on five or six pubs which we will frequent on the night in question before making loud noises at the other occupants of said venues, traffic driving on the street, and passerbys as we make our ways back to whichever bed we'll be sleeping in that night.
Come join us, for drunken merriment in the dirty south...
