Hay, Alister McGrath wrote a fantastic retort to Dawkins book called "The Dawkins Delusion?, subtitled *Atheist fundamentalism and the denial of the divine"...
*He exposes many of the flaws in Dawkins writings, while i'm on the side of Dawkins on this one an educated person would be advocated and see this very inteligent response:

there is a website where you can listen to the Burton for free (it's in the public domain)
i'll never tire of listening to it.
"FIRST VOICE [ Very softly ]
To begin at the beginning:
It is spring, moonless night in the small town, starless and bible-black, the cobblestreets silent and the hunched, courters'-and-rabbits' wood limping invisible down to the sloeblack, slow, black, crowblack, fishingboat-bobbing sea."http://www.undermilkwood.net/prose_undermilkwood.html -

My mum used to play it to me before bed when I was younger purely because Burton's voice was so relaxing and melodic. A side effect being that I now know pretty much the whole thing verbatim.

What other options are there other than £8/month audible?
Is there a pay-per-book provider rather than a monthly subscription model service?
Are there any decent repos of free audio books?

After watching 'The Genius of Darwin' on the telly box i thought i would check out other work by Richard Dawkins...
i don't really have the time or patience to read a book so i downloaded the audio version of 'The God Delusion'. its brilliant, instead of work being mind numbingly boring its now educational and insightful.
i'm now in the process of acquiring 'The origin of species', 'The ancestor's tale' and 'River out of Eden' which are all narrated by Dawkins himself.
can anyone suggest a book to listen to?
