• Selling this on behalf of my flatmate.

Never ridden while in his ownership, it was taken to pieces (cottered BB and headset complete with rod brake mount were saved but could do with fresh grease) in preparation for a respray, which never happened. Forks have reynolds 531 stamped on 'em, but there are no markings on the frame (but it probably is also 531).

It's anyone's guess who originally built it, it may be a holdsworth. It's definitely old though.

Open to offers. PM me like a bitch.

  • love the forks, any idea on the size? in terms of what size of person it would suit?

  • i'm thinking the sort of person who rides a 54.5cm frame might find it ideal

  • ASM tap along the top tube from the middle to the lugs, if it sound changes it's probably 531 double butted tubing ;)

  • From dogsballs technique i'd say it is probably double butted.

I've only seen the frame with 700c wheels in it, but guessing from its age i'd say it could take 27s. It didn't look half bad with 700c mind.

  • yo im looking to put together a relatively cheap bike may be interested about how much do you want for it and where are u based to arrange pick up

  • Looking for over £150, dependent on call to flatmate (ie maybe less, unknown at current time). Based in Se5 (loughborough junction area)

  • Fuck that old piece of tat, and buy asm's superlight and stiff Alf Webb instead.

  • only £80! I might chuck in the saddle, too. (For no extra cost)

  • only £80! I might chuck in the saddle, too. (For no extra cost)

If my Condor died tomorrow, I'd buy the Alf Webb. Few quid on matte black paint finish, and you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference.

Anyone considering a Fuji/Langster/Bowery/etc as their first fixed wheel bike would be MENTAL to pass up asm's generous offer. MENTAL.

  • 80 quid for the frame and folk plus saddle???
That's bargain !!! I want them at 80 quid (if that's what you meant for this frame?)

  • Check this thread before you commit. It's still a bargain, but... well, at least look at it first. ;)

Also comes with headset and stem (which needs a new star fangled nut, available from any bike shop for 50p)

Send me a Private message if you're still keen, and i'll tell you my address etc.

  • Thanks Fred!

Was that just a friendly gesture or are you interested?

    Something I can start building on. About 54 - 56 cm (or 22 - 23 inches high).

I live in London so will be able to pick up.
