i don't think it's necessarily the competition.

for me, i just want to play cause it's fun, but if i know that if i'm not committed to something solid then other things (uni, wife, work) will get in the way. this is just a good way to ensure that i make time to play...

genuine question here though seb - will people get so into their squads that they don't mix it up - what about beginners breaking in.. is it just going to be one of the nights a week or will everyone practice as a team on the other nights?

yeah i think the league is a great idea too... i'm all for playing in a teams on a regular basis and with consistent team mates!

yeah, I'd like to be in some form of league. We don't have to play team games all the time, but playing as part of a team is great fun. The league isn't going to replace every game ever played, sundays will be fun games only, and there will still be plenty of opportunity to have throw in games at NE polo etc.
