by another set of forks. hard to find undrilled track forks.

now that is another option, how much should a reasonable set of carbon road forks off the bay cost

that doesn't look like a carbon fork, if it is or isn't don't go drilling it. get a replacement and save that one.

its def carbon, the camera phone pictures aren't really showing up the shape or texture... consensus isn't drill then?

Many cheaper carbon forks have alloy drop outs and crown. I think your fork is one of these and it has had a carbon layer on top of a generic road fork crown.
However if your forks have very, very tight clearances I'm wrong.

fuji frameset arrived. overall, very happy with it despite the dent on the top tube being a bit bigger than i'd want it to be, but what im not happy with is that the forks arent drilled. and i dont ride brakeless.
can this be drilled? legs are carbon, but the crown looks alloy. what do you think? or should i just swap it for a drilled one?

i just saw these go on ebay for $120 dollars... pretty damn cheap.
i had my eye on them, but i can't really justify a new set of forks at the moment.

I had to swap out the fuji forks. LBS tried to drill it, but splinted as the crown is carbon. Save yourself the hassle and just swap it!
my pinarello frame has just arrived, the selling included what seemed to be an undrilled vela carbon fork.
I don't fancy going brakeless so thought I was going to have to swap the forks out. However having looked at the fork it seems to be drilled on the inside it's flat on the front so provided i could drill would seem to work but the back seems too aero to work with a brake, There seems to be a small carbon patch over the back too..
So should i/could i drill? thanks guys
