Sorry, but CUSM were (still are?) shit... Cyclists or not...
My old manager used to share an office with them on All Saint's Rd, nice fellas... Awful music... No offence... ;) -

Oh man I used to work with a bloke in a bike shop who'd play that shit day in day out... He used to giggle at the 'Sex Machine' bit of their name and then go mess about in the workshop

Yeah, Les (Fruitbat) is a very keen cyclist and ex-London bike courier!
His new band Abdoujaporov is named after one of the greatest tour de france sprinters of the early 90's Djamolidine Abdoujaparov.

they may not have been musicianly, but created there own sound and did it well...great "live" if you can call it that given all the electro pre-recorded elements...I saw them three times...once in Paris when they were at the height of their career in the UK...but only about 30 people showed up in France...nearly all English.....nice chaps too.

Hey Winston, Les mentioned to me the other day that he was interested to come and see some Rollapaluza action. He said I should take part but I told him I have already retired ;-)

People might say they weren't up to much musically but I enjoyed their sound and lyrics which were unique back in the 90's.
