Hey this is Ryler. I can vouch for Erik and that his bike is absolutely NOT stolen. We moved to London together and he brought the bike over from the states. He has had it for as long as Ive known him. So buy with a clear conscience...

Very nice bike man.

• #12
I might part with the wheelset, wasn't really planning on it and would prefer not to, but how much would you offer?
-
• #13
If the whole bike is £250. How does £50 sound?

• #14
sorry that picture is working, here are more:

argh, you've been to NE polo a couple times.

Dougie, If I can't sell the bike 'as is' in a couple of weeks I'll let you know about the wheelset

I'd rather not, for £300 I would. Post is a bit of a pain...

I can vouch for both of them. Happy now?
Oh and while i'm at it - this bike is good fun to ride and well put together... its a steal at the price, someone should jump on it ;)

well excuse us for having lives that aren't dependent on talking shit on forums all day long. Anyone here who plays polo regularly on sundays or in dalston on thursdays probably knows who I am.
So piss off
you silly muppet
:)
p.s. if you take offense to this, it'll just prove my point further, because in the real world we'd probably be friends. -

the suns coming out, lets talk this over coffee ya nerdzzz
I am moving back to the states and cannot afford to bring my bike back with me. Here are the specs:
• Trek 198(1-3?) 54cm Lugged Classic Road Frame. Reynolds 501 Cromalloy-M butted. Made in England. Black w/ ghost sparkle paint job. Cosmetic wear and tear, but the frame is in great condition. The drops are as good as they could be for a fg/ss conversion.
• Chrome Colnago fork.
• Handbuilt wheelset. Velocity Deep V's laced to Black Formula Hubs (front radial lace).
• Vintage Brooks Competition Saddle
• Dura-Ace Crank / rear cog
• Chopped risers with Pink Oury grips (made in the u.s.a)
• Continental GatorSkins (less than 1 month old)
• Vintage quill road pedals with MKS (NJS) cages
This bike is pretty quality where it counts and rides nicer than most conversions and new track frames. Great for Polo! I also work at a bike shop and can throw in parts at a discounted rate if you would like SPD's/front break/etc. I hate to see this bike go, but I simply can't afford/deal with the hassle of bringing across an ocean and then across the U.S.
Before it trades hands the bike will go through a deep clean and re-grease at the local bike shop to ensure it is in tip-top condition! Will throw in a mix-tape as well!
£250
