a bowery at 225 is much better for people on a budget than those fuckin unicrap things.
Mr Pearson, you're naughty but thanks for the info.
just remember this isn't a free advertisement site for retail outlets

To all you single speed boys and girls!
We have just aquired the clearance stock for Giant's much acclaimed Bowery bike!
The normal price is £350 and we can offer the bike out at a 35% discount - so it will now be £225 which is what we think is almost a pocket money price for this single speed machine!
If you fancy adding a stead to your single speed stable we suggest that you take a look at this. I do have to stress that it doesn't have mudguard clearance, so if you want this maybe look at our Hanzo, Touche or if you are feeling flush the Cartouche (review soon to be published in Cycling Weekly) which all take guards.
Please drop us an email or call 020 8642 2095 if you need any information!
Fuck you and your fucking giant bowery
Good price though for a fully custom OTP

bit out of order, Gabes.

thats an incredibly good price,
in my opinion the bowery is far better than the charge plug etc at £400+ (except if your doing freestyle)
I think its pretty cool of pearsons to offer it at £225 to us lot 'ere
its a thin line I know, when does shop advertising become ok?
But in this case, yes.

Only wanted to let you know! Not meant to be a blatant advert - just wanted to pass on an exclusive offer to you all, we thought you might benefit especially if anyone is thinking about buying at full price. Sorry if it's caused any bad feeling.

Bloody hell.. I spend one day in Liverpool and miss a good chance to test my new flame flower! FFS!

nothing's fucked dude!

Tiz in the wrong category, but might be useful to some people. I can't work out why people get so fucking irate about stuff like this. If it's not relevant to you, ignore it rather than jumping on the "first post - must die" bandwagon.
Personally I get more irritated by "Hi, I'm after a 56" frame, preferably fixed - TIA" posts. -

Sticking up for a commercial poster. brett must die!!!!!

picture would be nice...

brett, you have a point about the "i want the perfect bike right now with no knowledge" posts, but I still don't like people trying to flog quantities of stuff on here.
He should get it on gumtree/loot or advertise it properly somewhere.
-
• #19
why.
it's a good place to mention it. we might well be interested. it is, therefore, fair enough.
if they did it weekly, then it would be excessive.
-
• #20
Yeah.. but what if EVERY bike retailer decided to put an ad up about their latest fixiebike special?
(I didn't actually mind this but you gotta protect your turf a bit ya know?) -
• #21
i don't like it. if you don't like that i don't like it, that's up to you.
-
• #22
amen hippy, protect the turf.
-
• #23
you can not like it, but it's not really your place to police the forum.
i like pearson cycles, i like that they have taken an interest in the forum, and feel a bit bad that people were rude to them when they dropped in.
is all.
-
• #24
We are rude to everyone when they first drop in. Why should Pearson be exempt? :)
-
• #25
that's not true, and you know it.
as soon as some french/american hipster posts to say he/she is coming to london everyone falls over themselves to be all friendly
