definitely, when I got drunk in Gran Canaria, I fell down some stair near the beach, quite drunkly I must added, it was sore, I stand up, going all "ok", but quite sore, my chest was a bit sore, but I carry on partying.
next morning, woke up screaming in pain; turn out I've broke a rib, the doctor was amazed that I was still partying considering that the rib can poke my lung or my heart, very risky!

Did you go dirt jumping at night?
Bad idea even with a good light.

i reckon it's because u greased your brake cables ;)

no cables on this on sorry.
ok morning after.
semi seperated shoulder gone back in now but hurts like hell.
bruised hip
hole in elbow
hole in side.now having thought about what happened i can actually tell you.
the jump i was on and planning to roll was resurfaced a few months back with a tarmac top. unfortunatly the run up isn't. the edge of the tarmac is raised by about 3 inchs. i let the front roll up in a speed roll the back hit the edge of the tarmac and came up flicking me onto the gravel.i've snapped the speedo wire on my bike not happy.
think i got away light -

ouch.
we used to love watching people on xc bikes turn up at the track all cocky, then get faster and faster, with no real ability to pump the track properly, until the inevitable balls-on-stem or on the deck moment.know your limits riders.
you must know how many pints you can drink before riding
-

i do know my limits i'm not an xc rider or at least i wasnt. i was one of those sat watching too. this just went wrong as it does for everyone eventully.

Good effort!
dont i feel like a dumb ass.
epic fail soon to follow.
dont go for a ride with a friend then stop at the pub for a few. then on the way home race said friend round a local bmx track. hell yer i won (first time) second time i let him go them caught him on the last jump only to eat some gravel on the otherside of said jump from rather high after saying "pedal bitch" just before the jump. must remember i no longer ride a jump/downhill bike i am now on a XC bike for this sort of thing.
i need to htfu its only a few scratches and bruises.
anyway still drunk so will edit this in the morning to say what i think happened.
ride safe and dont be a dick
