  • Wiggle are out of stock on something I need.

What other online bike shops do people use?

    P.

  • Parker have been pretty good when I've used them.

  • Dotbike.com

  • Sprocket - they ring you personally if any issues, speedy turn around, smaller company, all good.

  • Chain Reaction

Whenever I use these guys my order arrives the next day pretty much. If they send you the wrong thing however it takes days to get a response via email as they don't answer the phone... I can live with this though for the 95% excellent performance I usually receive

  • chainreaction. twice they didn't have what I ordered, so they just upgraded to a more expensive item, still came next day.

  • +1 Chain reaction. No postage charge and always arrives pronto.

  • vv you filthy wanker

  • Since Wiggle have been completely useless for me... they get a -1.

I rate http://www.universalcycles.com but they're based in the States and are a pretty huge store. Not quite a Mom and Pop if you're into that. Postage is a lot but you save £££ on the actual items, I ordered a bunch of stuff from Soma and Surly from there that was half the price it was here. Delivery is a week to two weeks.

Not too appreciated... some of us work in places where sex toys are not good stuff to surf during the lunch break.. strange huh?

  • Milwaukee Bicycle co are great if you need something from stateside.

  • ProBikeKit is pretty good.
    Hubjub, of course.
    +1 for dotbike + chainreaction

  • has anyone used these guys before?:
    http://www.fatbirds.co.uk/

Some very good prices on some components I'm after...

  • Not too appreciated... some of us work in places where sex toys are not good stuff to surf during the lunch break.. strange huh?

yeah, i guess when you're on your break you want to get away from dildos and sex toys for a few minutes at least

  • Parker International
    Ben's/Milwaukee
    Aero Velotech
    Trackstar(sometimes) - if you're feeling flush

  • yeah, i guess when you're on your break you want to get away from dildos and sex toys for a few minutes at least

    Exactly!

  • cyclebasket is an awful looking site, but has good range / prices.
    on-one has good deals sometimes.
SJScycles, Cyclestore.co.uk, & Bonthrone bikes have good selections.
    +1 Wiggle, ChainReactionCycles, Dotbike

  • This online shop based in hungry has some loverly NOS gear, vintage steel frames (lots of italian frames), and some cool vintage clothing. The guy who runs it Geoff Burgess is really helpful.

http://www.universalcycles.com have good stock however as they're not based in the UK the turnaround is a little slower and if your order is over 50 pounds you get landed with import tax. I've gotten a few surly part from them but after postage & tax you don't realy save any money.

I'd use http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ if only for the large selection of sprockets

they also do an lfgss discount of 10% - I think the code is londonfgss but it is on the forum somewhere

made my sidi dominators significantly cheaper than anywhere else

  • www.allterraincycles.co.uk are good for basics and tyres. quick and often have good deals.
