try marylebone or fitzrovia, most of the sam smith's pubs have outdoor seating. angel in the fields in marylebone high street is a post-work drunken favourite.

went to one last night with a friend, and they let me put my bike in the beer garden in the back so we just sat there with it unlocked. next to us.
its on essex road past the tescos, when heading away from Angel station, its on the right hand side of the road next to an alley, that all i can remember
Its worth a look

Excellent thread. When the list is fully drawn up, if before the end of summer.....a day and night long pub crawl?

Actually, this is such a good idea, maybe a social ride to find pubs in each sector of London is worthwile. Those who need a fast social ride wouldn't be pleased though.
Or maybe, peeps post pics of London pubs with front beer gardens in this thread (name and address included of course)?

Founders Arms by the river on South Bank and the Flask oop north in Highgate both have room for bikes which can be left unlocked and by your side.
Remember: don't drink and drive.
My bike's a for ridin', not drivin' :)

The New Inn in Appletreewick in North Yorkshire. They have stables for bikes, bike photos all over the walls, they run mountain bike safaris from the pub and they used to sell spare components and tubes behind the bar. Quality.

The Old Ship hammersmith, room for a hundred bikes. and psumo.

+1 to Coach & Horses (south drinks pub) The first time we rocked up they offered us spare D-locks!
Also The Selkirk in Tooting, they always let me take my bike through the pub to the massive garden in the back.
The Anchor near London Bridge has a massive outdoor bit by the river which is good as well. -

Is John Snow a bike-friendly pub? I seen quite a bit of fixed gear bicycles nearby.

The Pembury Tavern in Hackney let me bring my bike in and lean it against the wall a while back. Great ales and ciders too. And they've got loads of games.
Nice digging Fred!

Fuck me, that's a place I haven't heard mentioned for a while.
Used to adore that pub in my younger days. -

The Marlborough in Peckham. Have a large garden and a covered area out the back. They've also let us leave our bikes inside leant against the walls.

The Pembury is ace. It hosts Hackney Green Drinks and is the usual venue for Hackney Cyclists' post-meeting drinks. Extremely well-run, great atmosphere, no music (which for me is a big plus, I'm a bit Wetherspoonish on that one), and, yes, they're happy for bikes to come in. They were also non-smoking right from the off even though they opened a good year ahead of the ban officially coming in. I never used to have a favourite pub in Hackney until they opened. (I don't like any of the local pubs near my house, I'm afraid. The Pembury is 2-3 minutes' ride away and as close to a local as I'll probably ever get.)

(every thurs)Er? Do they really play pisumo in there?
Pray elaborate whether there's an elaborate joke in there that I don't get.

Oliver you are a star.
So where are the best pubs where ideally you can sit outside and your bike can enjoy the good times too, instead of being chained to a lamp post around the corner? It would be good to get a list of London's finest going, and in particular I am after one somewhere between Soho and the southern side of Hampstead Heath. Any tips?
