20 miles = hour and a half

ok, the most direct way, is straight down the bath rd, or if you wanna get the train form hayes and harlington into paddington. (there is a heathrow connect which is dear) no other choices i'm afraid.
i work out that way, and commute everyday. -

1-1.5hr depending on time/map consultation to riding ratio. It's shit out there. Smash it along the A4? for an unpleasant but quick option.

Just charter a flight from City Airport.

Hop on to the piccadilly line until Acton. Then ride.

Non-folding bicycles are allowed outside peak times in either direction between: Barons Court and Hounslow West/Uxbridge Cockfosters and Oakwood.
So, you'd need to get on at Hounslow West.

Train to Heathrow? From where? King's Cross or Euston is where you'd take a train to.

Stranger & stranger.
When Waterside was planned/built/opened it was immediately dubbed 'T6' by locals. -

got to drop my nephew at heathrow on friday and his parents want me to take him to checkin
where's the best place to park for a couple of hours that doesn't involve too much walking as he's on crutches ? can i just turn up and park without the faff of online booking
terminal 3
-

I know Stansted has 60 mins free parking if you use the shuttle bus to the terminal from the car park (did this to collect a backpack wife left on said bus on way back from a holiday) but Heathrow only does 30 which means you pay after the 30 mins is up.

i'm pretty sure i'll be in the airport for a couple of hours. i'm google street viewing the way in currently off the m4.
i've always used the tube / train in the past. not sure which car parks to use and how long they'll let me stay without exorbitent fees, towing charges, car crushing costs and how long in prison if i do it wrong

Just use the Heathrow short term parking, it's just a couple of mins walk away. You can just turn up, I think, but better to pre-book. It's going to cost you £20 though for a couple of hours.

yeah that seems like the optimum method. i've been up to birmingham airport numerous times in the last couple of years and that is now a doddle. short term parking in and out nice and easy. wasn't sure what options there were for heathrow. and how far away from the terminal i'd have to park. whether we'd need a shuttle bus, but it seems like the planners got it right when building the airport a few decades ago. i had anxiety about my nephew missing his flight. didn't want to mess his holiday up. feeling much calmer now.
hopefully just stop oil have cancelled any actions for this friday !

Just make sure you get there in plenty of time. At busy periods it can be absolute carnage trying to get in to the T3 car park.
Also, make sure you don't take a wrong turn and end up on the terminal 3 forecourt as they'll hit you with another £5 charge for that! -

He needs to walk the lad to check-in

You are accompanying a minor with a disability onto a flight. I would ring up, explain the situation, and see if the airport can suggest anything.
ive been looking at trains down south to the big smoke and trains are cheaper to london healthrow.... how long would it take to cycle from heathrow to say london bridge?
are there cycle routes?
or what are good cheap ways for getting from heathrow to the city with a bike!?!
thanks.
