I believe they are called Unipaq, though maybe it's worth asking again, not sure has anyone heard of these?

there's a general consensus on the forum that they are waste of time, the frames aren't much special nor are many of the parts.
I'd reccomend spending a little more get a fuji track or go down the second hand route

yup, its an overpiced piece of junk.
Instead of wasting £200 on one.
Spend,
£30 on an old reasonably good road frame.
£20 powder coat.
£40 new FSA vero chainset&bb from Pearson
£10 miscellaneous.£100 track wheelset from one-one.
= £200 custom bike, way better than unipack!

There are a number of OTP options, have a look round here using the search function, you'll find several threads that will be of assistance to you.

I would disagree with Skeletonboy's pricing strategy but concur with his ethos.

Dont go near those pieces of shit!

I was also looking at those bikes but I always knew that although they may be an ok introduction bike , they are just a mass produced bike with inferior parts . As with many cheaper bikes , you'd end up by changing most of the bits through breakages anyway . Better off spending a little more or building your own
I'd be interested to hear from anyone that has one though ..... has it lasted ? -

I'm sure I saw a courier parked up outside Condor with one. Then again he also had what appeared to be a brand spanking Crumpler and new 'street' clothes (as opposed to cycling stuff).. if that was a fake radio stuck to his chest.. the end is near.

sometimes production runners and sound and lighting engineers use radios on set
he might have just been on his break?

That was me, what did you think of the look ? I made the radio from a old cigarette packet and painted it with boot polish.
Cheers for the torque wrench, it all came back in one piece, you even set the rest tension back to 19Nm :) - sorry I wasn't in, I was out breaking in the Unipak/Crumpler combo.

Yeah I set it just the way you like it. I did have to use it to beat to death 11 minicab drivers on the way to your place so 19Nm might not be the 19Nm you were used to.. :)
You were out stalking cyclists again weren't you? See super bike man again? :D

Where are you getting powder coating for £20?

or;
£50 on a decent looking old road bike (or even £10 from car boot sales)
£100 for a fixed rear wheel.
the rest is simply stripping the bike of the useless part. -

Not stalking today, I have Wednesdays off stalking, I was doing other non-stalking related bike pursuits.
Haven't spotted Super Bike man since those first fleeting glimpses. :(
I might have to start a thread just for him, to see if anyone has spotted him, or seen him solving any crimes or fighting baddies.
Hopefully some of you guy/girls can help me out.
There was this guy on eBay selling fixies for 200quid a pop a while back in loads of colours.
Supposedly they were 'imported from the USA'
Now there's someone gumtree doing the same hustle.
What i wanna know is has anyone bought these bikes? are they safe? is it too good to be true?
