CONdor/EAI cogs

  • Does anyone know the difference in shoulder width of these sprockets?

Just want to check before I drop some hard-earned on a new BB.

  • That's some serious drivetrain anality you have there. I wouldn't worry about it as the differences will be pretty small. If you're really keen then I would drop a bit more hard earned and get a Phil BB, since the cups let you adjust the chainline. Then you're not tied in to one brand of cog to satisfy your drive train accuracy requirements.

  • Not sure about Condor - but here is the EAI:

  • I'm planning on dropping on a Royce, which is why I want to get it right!

I don't want to move the cranks too far laterally, as I don't have masses of crank clearance i.e it's all fine and well adjusting chainline on the cups, but the non-drive crank still has to clear the chainstay.

    Drivetrain anality....

Can you get ointment for that?

  • Cheers Tynan, seen that, but it doesn't show the CONdor.

  • i'd pop down to cavendish and get an EAI, they have heaps of sizes ;)

  • Good call, dogs!
