  • How much does a condor pista cost?

he said Part-ex, so that doesn't really work, does it.

  • no tyre kickers puhleese

  • I don't have the tools and the bike shops here are crap

  • he said Part-ex, so that doesn't really work, does it.

It works if I buy a Pista and then part exchange.

  • i thought you meant as a way of knowing how much he was expecting. My condor pista cost 1100.

why not say a price, Ramon? FFS.

  • nice. any idea of shipping costs to the uk while we're at it?

  • EasyJet + bike bag...

thanks mate, I've started riding her, and she is a beaut. I knew this would happen, riding 84 GIs with no brakes is suicide here(or anywhere), but I couldn't resist. I am just worried that if for example I strip a crank putting on new pedals, or let the the mechanics at a bike shop near her then it's big money for replacements. She is also totally unsuitable for my commuting needs, but a couple of days riding and i am thinking bollox to a Condor.

  • ramon, just swap out the rear cog, put like an 18 or a 19 on, was going to offer you some cash for it, but it most probably would have offended you with its miserliness ;-)
If you're enjoying the ride, keep it, its a beautiful machine, and deserves to be ridden by someone who loves it...

  • Ramon, honestly, honestly, honestly you will regret letting go of that Pinarello

And if you see a Pinarello 58 road frame let me know eh, I'll be on the next plane over !

  • Hi Ray, why don't you just get some genuine Pin road forks so you can run a front brake? Then you keep the track forks... you'll be rocking! Thats what I'm going to do with my Pin anyway... they are so hard to come by, you'll regret letting it go.

  • It true because I was planning to burgle jonhings drum just to get my hands on his ...;)

  • I'm going to swap out the cog and the fork, then paint it pink, get turquoise deep V's....
Geared down with a front brake and I'll be happy. Thanks for the advice.
I'll let you know if anymore come up.

  • Just so that you know, that bike is covered with C-Record pista parts (cranks, hubs, seatpost, headset, probably BB) which are the most coveted track parts around. Yours look to be in amazing condition sicne there are almost no scratches or chainring wear. The cranks would be worh £100-150 and the hubs £250 - 350 on ebay, and the bike as a whole would go for a decent amount. Another thing to bear in mind is that there have been some reports of the bubs breaking with street use, but that hasn't stopped lots of people using them for that.
