Edgeware Road, between Marble Arch and Edgeware Road Station. Arab(ish) coffee houses open till very late; as their clientele often don't wake up til 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Is that late-night/early-morning place in Smithfield meat market still going? I think it might be a pub that had a weird licence so it could sell pints to market workers coming off shift at 6am, but also did a fry-up with bacon and sausage from the market - yum.

McDonalds do coffee.
Only in the loosest possible interpretation of the word. I'd rather drink the camel piss that gets churned out by Starbucks.

-1 for Starbucks. There is never an excuse for going there.

Also, I seem to remember Balans on Old Compton Street being open late and serving food/good coffee into the wee hours.

I go to Starbucks so that I can use the nutmeg (it keeps Grenadians in work, and not shaking begging bowls at the IMF or World Bank)....and anyway, their frappies are just the ticket for my sugar rush on hotter days.
Sorry. If anyone likes, me, Benedict Arnold and Judas Iscariot are playing cards tonight, in case anybody wants to join us?

There's the all night American Diner on St John's street, down by Smithfields.
We even attempted an LFGSS night out there, back when Object was still straight edge :-D

Don Quixote's on Kingsway is open pretty late. I'm sure I've had a hot steak sarnie from there around 3am before...

Hopper, Waits - you get a better class of cultural reference on this forum. Did you know that Ridley Scott said 'Nighthawks' was the inspiration for the look of Blade Runner?
Sometimes I even bore myself.

Ride out West to the Ace cafe on the North Circular, open till late. Coffee is crap though but good meeting place. Go on, the ride will do you good!
Problem with London is that we don't have that much late night cafe/coffee place, most of them shut up shop by 8pm, do any of you know a good late night one that's open till like 11 or even 12? I know there's a handful in Brick Lane but I wanted to know if there's some in Soho/Bloomsbury/Covent garden area?
much appericated!
