  • Cleaning out some space for more bike builds - various bits for sale from the depths of my desk draws, I have just uploaded all these pictures and can't be bothered writing any descriptions or prices right now - I will try and do that later today when I get a chance.

Some of this stuff is not particularly fixed/SS relevant, some of it is über weightweenie stuff, some of it is MTB bits, some road bits, there's a brake lever with SLAG written on it, some shoes, a 700c double wheel bag, some of it is terrible old shit, some of it brand new/never used, a rotten old saddle with a spider living in it, the world's (2nd) lightest brake levers and a lightweight yellow cycling top that will make you look like a gay.

    • I think the cycling computer and the chrome crank caps might already be taken by Dammit and squoocher respectively (??) . .

  • Fuck!

  • Seriously could I have a brief explanation on the 3(?) BB's? Much appreciated.

  • Fuck!

    No, cash only.

  • Seriously could I have a brief explanation on the 3(?) BB's? Much appreciated.

First BB, Octalink, used, all working, running smooth, cups are a bit mashed from removing them, but screw in good - but . . . . . the cups are Italian !! (both thread the same way - won't work in a British BB shell) - to be honest I wouldn't go near it, a waste of time and your money, if you did need an octalink it would be far less hassle to just pick up a standard threaded one, they are not expensive. But someone looking to replace their knackered Octalink (and can use their old cups) might want it for a fiver, if it does not sell I will grind it up and feed it to the little robots in the park. Am I selling this to you ?

Second BB, Tune AC38, titanium, legendary ! as ridden by Tour de france winners, super light, two sets of bearings on the drive side (nice!) super super smooth and super super strong, fits both 68mm and 73mm BB shells , normal cups here, no exotic threadings or other weirdness, 113mm spindle, JIS, comes with a lovely pair of titanium stretch bolts which your install under load which means it is almost impossible for them to loosen, [EDIT: almost forgot : CERAMIC BEARINGS !!!! super posh !!) . . . flippin' nice. Mint condition, used for a few weeks last summer.

Quick review from Paul Smith (!!!):
***"Tune 'AC38' bottom bracket 'My Pick of the Year 2005' - ***(Paul Smith / Cycling Plus Awards 178).
(this one is the updated even better version with ceramic bearings !!!).

    **

Third BB, Shimano XT external BB for integrated cranks, standard fitting, nice and light, good nick, running smooth - goes with the XT cranks (if desired) not a lot to say really !

  • I'll take the slag levers off you...

  • Also interested in the Shimano BB... could you give us the BCD on the chainrings?

  • It that a white spider? Bling £$£?!!!

I'll take a LHS tektro lever if it's standard clamp size or shimmable, reverse or otherwise.

  • bids down in one or two of the stem if they are for 1"

what size is the yellow top, if is L or XL, bids down too

  • I'll take the slag levers off you...

    Ha !

    I wonder what drew you to that . . . . you slag :D

I am afraid there is just the one lever (the pictures are from different angles to get a good idea) - it looks much much nicer in real life, the pictures do the SLAG1 brake lever no favours.

A real carbon blade, all the internal steel tuned/replaced with allow, alloy bolt (not shown) all in an effort to make the world's lightest crosstop lever (I failed) - still it came out at a featherweight 33g.

Make me an offer I can't refuse.

  • I would be second in line for these if the deal with sqoocher falls through...

  • Tynan are the stem for 1"forks?

  • Also interested in the Shimano BB...

    Make me an offer . . .

could you give us the BCD on the chainrings?

The three piled on top of each other are XTR proprietary, not sure if they will work with anything else (??) brand new, never mounted.

The TA (last two images of the first post) - BCD 104mm (4 arm) 46T - good nick (the first picture in the 2nd post is the same ring silhouetted to show you that the teeth are in decent nick).

  • It that a white spider? Bling £$£?!!!

A genuine hip hop slave spider, all white, 8 legs, 130 BCD, compound eyes - £140.

I'll take a LHS tektro lever if it's standard clamp size or shimmable, reverse or otherwise.

:D Reverse shimming, solves so many problems.

Yes, it is standard stuff, carbon lever, also brand new - never mounted, nice and strong, nice and light, make me an offer . . .

  • bids down in one or two of the stem if they are for 1"

The first three images in the first post show 6 stems - all 1" - various sizes and various rises (angles) !

The single stem (top and side) at the start of the 4th post is a Klein oversized steerer clamp which I believe only works with oversize Klein and Cannodale forks.

All never mounted on a bike, but a few years old (sitting around in boxes)

what size is the yellow top, if is L or XL, bids down too

It is Medium, brand new, never worn but I am 5'.11" (if anyone wants to fight me I will be in the Red Lion all Wednesday) and it fits me fine.

  • Have to go to work, interested in the 1" stems.

I will have to pass in the yellow top, is small for me

  • I would be second in line for these if the deal with sqoocher falls through...

Pipwish, I knew you'd be attracted to shiny stuff like this, it'll match your mudguards.
