To figure out the BCD of your cranks, measure the distance between adjacent chainring bolts, and follow Sheldon.

The RPM chainrings aren't straight. They dish inwards which means that if you get a messed up chainline whyen you use another chainring.
BCD is 130mm.

I'm not sure if there's a hack. I really want to get a smaller chainring on my RPM cranks though so if anyone can help with which BB to buy to make the cranks work with a non-dished chainring then there's at least two people who'd be very thankfull.

Damnit, I just wanted a simple swap. Why did they have to dish the crank?

It's a bodged road crank that's been repurposed for use as a track crank.
The BB that's in there right now should be a 110mm JIS square taper BB. Maybe a Shimano UN52/53 110mm.

who give a shit about chainline, i'm gonna put an exocet shot through your chainring and melt it with the sheer velocity of my mallet thwack!

I am bloody terrified of you on the polo court. Maybe I should just smash my bike to pieces with a hammer now and save both our time?

Just get to HH and by a massive rear cog. They had 24s when I was there at the weekend.

Sparky, an easier way may be to pop a 22T cog on the back. £8 from Condor. Do you have fixed/fixed?
-
• #13
Yeah, or what em said.
-
• #14
Nice one, that sounds much easier. I have fixed/fixed, so all I'll need is a 22T rear and a longer chain.

Nice one Lebowski ;]

don't be afraid sparky, be VERY afraid.
I've just signed up for the polo comp in August, but I'm still running 48:16. Does anyone know what the chainring mounting size of the bendy-bendy RPM cranks on the Fuji Track is?
I'm thinking 38T Surly chainring = £29 = simple polo-ification.
