  • Search here on londonfgss for 'Unipak'

  • there's a few people riding them in london, so you won't be feeling lonely or anything.

  • Saw a guy riding one yesterday, he still had the cardboard wrapped around the fork blades?

  • we need to find loopholes in ebay rules to get people out of this

  • I suggest you try to sell it.

  • well you've bought it now so...

I'm asssuming this is your first ss?

ride it for a few months, see if you like singlespeed. Basically it's a cheap imitation, which will suffice for a while. You'll probably be able to sell it for as much as you paid. What most people do is (shock, horror) almost exactly the same thing, but with a higher spec starter bike (langster, fuji track, bianchi pista).

Eventually you'll probably find that the components wear out and it's too heavy. But if you dont, then it's the perfect bike*!

*i.e. you don't ride much or don't care

  • Fail

  • OK, got the point!! You guys dont think this is a good idea...

    I'll cancel the deal...

  • patience and research dude, patience and research... :)

  • patience And Research Dude, Patience And Research... :)

    words!!

  • I bought the same bike different colour, and then did the research, realised it would probably fall apart on me so sold it after three days. Am now in the patience and research phase!

The rims were not even circular, so the brake pads rubbed on the tyre.
