  • Planning on building some wheels,
got myself some polished suzue hubs a couple weeks ago.

Have been on a mad hunt for some deep section rims Under £20each, and kinda been failing!
Found a nice gold mavic shallow reflex rim today for cheeeapzz! today, couldnt resist and bought it.

Still fancy a deep rim for the "other" wheel though.
Problem is, Im not sure which way round to have them?

The gold rim has a posh braking surface, so it might make sense to have it on the front.
But will having a deep rim on the rear create more rotational mass?
Also what will it do to the aero dynamic scheme of things?

Would like some advice on the overall pros and cons of which way round I should have them, and what might simply look best.
The front will be one-cross 36, the rear three-cross 36
ny advice on what spokes would be best while im at it, would butted/thin spokes be OK for hard riding if only on the front?

    thanxx

(edited for reasons of inept grammar, any better? )

  • i suggest looking on ebay first for some paragraphs.

  • but don't get them from that dave hinde,,

I bought some full stops from him and they never turned up,

  • What's the hipster choice though? Indent and single return, or no indent and double return. I suppose it depends which one's available in silver.

  • ooh, they told me I was dyslexic but I never belived it was true!

    it all makes sense..

    Im going to weep now.

  • 'belive' it bad boy.

  • .

that must be one of dave hinde's. give it to rob,

  • It's definitely one of Dave Hinde's. Period.

  • thanks for that.

the days of bargain punctuation on ebay have gone, even the underlines, dashes and question marks are going for well over the odds!

    fucking hipsters

  • just the other day the bin on a comma was over a hundred pounds so needless to say i didn't buy it i left it for some flush hipster to snap up if they liked the look of it.

  • I've got a vintage semi-colon in my watched items at the moment, sitting awkwardly alongside a zeitgeisty forward slash.

  • people are even getting brackets, and putting them with speech marks, wankers!

are they just looking at their sentences or actually reading them?

  • i see what you guys are doing here.

  • oh shit, rumbled, flood the market, dump all parts, the punctuation crunch is on: ::;;;....))))""""::

  • If people want to experiment with punctuation in an aesthetic way, that's up to them. They probably don't care if what they've written makes sense, or whether you understand it.

  • seriously, and if you're ready to go without punctuation, you're ready to go without punctuation. plain as.

  • if people want, to experiment (with (punctuation)) in an "aesthetic - way" - thats' up to them; they probably do'n't: care if what they,ve written 'makes' 'sense' or, whether you... understand/it

  • if you go punctuationless its more intuative and zen like people say you cant stop properly but I can look see its easy just there I stopped

  • sssssssssssssssseriousssssssssssssly and if youre ready to go without punctuatttttttttttion youre ready to without punctuattttttttttttttion plain asssssssssssssssssssssss

  • punctuation is an affectation anyway

  • So is punctuality.

  • what's the difference between these off the peg brackets ( )

    and the ones at Witcomb for twice the price { }

    is it the lugs?

  • no, it's the presentation, the design.

  • Those aren't Witcomb. They're clearly rebadged Hetchins.
