Yo my man demz...
I just got myself a pair of new hubs, and something unusual -( well at least new to me) that I noticed was that the axles were non-coloured.
Im familiar with going into hardware shops etc, where they ask you whether you want self-colour or zinc/stainless bolts etc...
But ive never given a tought to what it meant.
I cant remember ever seeing shiny steel axles before anywhere, just so used to them and pedal spindles etc always being black.
So was just wondering if it means anything, is it better ? , worse, or simply superficial colouring?
