Also, if you have one of those cyclindrical key locks, theres the old bic pen trick.

no I don't know nobody named Ondine.

I wasn't anywhere with anything that would have helped the situation, I think I was drunk looking at the time I sent my reply, probably would have had a bit of a chat about it, bit of tea and sympathy and then it would have been "lotsa luck, you's on your own". I seem to remember I thought I had decided to scrap the reply but I must have pressed "submit".

Anyway I didn't hand out any advice. Plus Ondine is a girl's name, avatar is a girl's eye v. similar to 50/14's - it's either 50/14, or a girl. or someone pretending to be a girl to dupe someone. Note the lickle kiss at the end of the post.

my bike's not on the street, fortunately it was not secured to anything
it's not my fix, its my old road bike which I didn't ride much following my liberation from the freewheel, but it is a good bike, a 531 condor, circa '90, with a period record g/set, downtube shifters & delta brakes & it saddens me to it see it becoming depleted, as I raid it for parts (I'm keeping the delta brakes), a shadow of its former self.

Namewise, I was thinking of the Warhol Factory habitue, have you seen Chelsea Girls recently?

Has anyone had any experience with carjacks?
