the other thing i forgot to mention OS - 31.8 clamp - therein lies the problem but used to 31.8 now and means i don't need any grippy stuff

Looks like you're stuck with Deda.
-
• #8

-
• #9

get another ahead stem with normal size clamp :)
-
• #14
chris crash, yeah am getting a new stem anyway so could go regular diam but have been enjoying the OS - seems to cut down a lot of road buzz and gives me a good fistful to hang on to.
thanks for the tip nimbhus, might drop them a line and see if they can help.

watched Two Days in Paris last night - Julie Delpy screams at her american lover
"your cock is not to big for french condoms, your ego is too big for french condoms"
you see my problem dogs ;)

I feel like I've seen them in 40cm. Unless they're like 3ttt and measure from outside to outside which would put their 42cm close to 40 on centers.

Might be worth asking the fella at Kiwi Cycles. They might have 3T Pista bars in black? It's on the website anyway.

They're 26 mm diameter though and I think jonny is after oversize, i.e. 31.8 mm diameter ones.

My mistake - he is getting a new stem but likes the oversize one. Should read the whole thread before diving in. As you were. -

nice thought wools and i pop into see paul at kiwi quite regular - but like andyp says ideally looking for a 31.8 clampsize.
flickwg - not sure if i will make it to easties tonight though may do like a little late. are they on your bike though as there is no way i can ride that. i have 42cm bars. they are too wide for my liking. thinking 38 might be ideal with 40 being doable.

Stop being so narrow-minded.
l's and g's i am looking for a set of track bars, in black, 38cm.
The Deda bars look fine except can't find them anywhere in anything other than 42cm.
Parker Int also have some Pro-lite but once again - 42cm.
Easton will do a lovely carbon set for around 180 notes but that is more than my frame.
Anyone else come across anything that might suit? anyone, anyone?
