that's really not a "shiner"

back in the old days, I sported (and dished out) some proper comic-book black eyes at the ABA club.

talking of racism, does anyone remember a cereal advert from the 70's/80's (crunchy nut cornflakes or some shit) that featured a load of boxers sitting along a table eating and singing?. They ALL had obvious comedy black eyes except for the one black boxer sat on the end of the table, he had (and I shit thee not) a *white *eye !
