I think Dura ace are a bit out of my price range. Could maybe stretch to the Sugino 75's though.
Well, I shouldn't, but I could.....

I've been eating nothing but bananas and 20p sainsbury's noodles for lunch and dinner for the past ten days (minus a burger at SWBeers), one more week and it's pay day baby!
going to be nice to be back on something more substantial than two quid a day

luckily, I'm quite a fan of the humble noodle. If I'm feeling fancy, I put some vegetables in there too.

Dura-Ace or Sugino 75's.. I ripped all my hair out and got Dura-Ace FC-7600.. cost me a fortune, but I'm happy with them ;)
Oh, but check the BB! if it's a Dura-Ace I'm not sure it will have the right chainline with a Sugino crank. and visa versa.

They should be the same (both use a 109mm ISO spindle), but I've got a 43.5mm chainline. It has been decided that I've probably got a JIS taper spindle (i.e. for Suntour) at the moment though, which is what is causing the trouble.

sugino super mighty - my pal picco might sell his...
Hope you're well Julio.

Sugino 75, got mine from NJS-Frames £80 and a sugino 46t ring too.
We often have cheap noodles with prawns (from the fishman on the market) chop up a chillie or 2, some diced tomato and spring onion, and bobs yer uncle, a great spicey feast.

I reckon stronglights are worth considering...
I'm pretty happy with mine so far anyway - 97quid from hubjub including a decent ring. And they weigh nothing.

My noodle lunch today could have been better. I dunked a choc chip cookie in it and it snapped off. So i had choclate prawn noodles.
And if you read Viz you know what a chocolate prawn is. I was a millimetre away from a rofl

'Ooooooh, she had a mott like Terry Waites' allotment!'
She who has; a hairy fanny
I'm finally gonna try and set up my Vivalo. I still don't really have the money for this project, but I guess I will never have 'spare cash'... so I'm just gonna spend some loot on this anyway.
So which crankset should I get? General consensus seems to be Miche Primato or Sugino... I guess I would be up for spending about £100, seeing as I have a really nice frame and BB, I don't want to put complete rubbish on it.
Anyone got any advice on what to go for?
Thanks!
