God, i would say that was a little harsh. What makes you want to be sick about that bike?

I've thought it looked awesome from the day I saw it! There's only a few gold bits, it's no different to any other HHSB!
-
• #6
looks alright, im not a fan of gold, but colours can be changed

I think if the gold was chrome it'd look pretty sweet. Just take the decals off, too, and it'll look nice.

Sure it's a little gangsta, but it isn't so bad I'd vomit on it. It's a darn sight better looking than some so called custom jobbies i've seen touted around the interwangle.
Each to their own though. -

gromit worthy

I quite like it too, although if I rode it about I'd feel like a bit of a tit.
I like my bike's reasonably understated. My friend Amy has way too much gold Nitto on her bike for my likening, But it does suit her and the bike.

the bikes ok but the guy that probably paid someone to design it for him isnt, hes such a dickhead that by proxy the bike turns shit, so on second thought the bike is a load of wank.

errr... wha?
it's not a custom job. http://fujibikes.com/2008/bikes.asp?id=419
bit overpriced, but i don't mind it.

Actually I love it, it's just not exactly ridable being in the sense of how easily it would get nicked just for having some shiny gold part (I assumed it's not real gold).
fuck off to chrome, that just make all the kids with guns and knifes want one.

The frame looks a bit naff - the rear triangle is a bit lax for a 'track' bike. I thought it was just a standard fuji track frame with gold bits thrown on - It's slightly more worthy of its price now that I know it's a proper lugged jobby.
Still a bit daft because the frame itself is probably made from the same steel that a fuji track is, and for the exuberant pricetag you could get yourself a nice bike. The groupo is nicely exclusive though - at least they didn't just chuck on a nitto groupset with messenger zen/RD cranks.

Sorry- to clarify:
I saw this in Waterloo Cut Evans and thought that the design was not for me. Other people may like it, possibly even love it.
Personally I am not a big fan of the colour scheme.

i know its not a custom job. i meant that shepard fairy probably didnt even do the design himself, since most of the stuff he makes is done by others in his company he probably subdivided this as well.

So?
He's gone the way of Marc Ecko, and gone all 'legit' (not that he really wasn't already). This is no different really to the puma/carhart bikes. Except that it is far more appealing than either of those!

shit's dope.
seriously though, i think it's well done, and i usually hate gold anything.

nah its different because of the content of their work, i know its stupid to hate people for "selling out" or what ever and we could go about it all night, but the fact is marc eko's work was about "getting up" and carhart is a brand. where as fariy is a cock who creates loads of anti-capitalist anti-govt work (full of plagiarized and copied stuff which is art in its own right, without recognizing any of the original artists) then does campaign adverts for the next president of america and other less than savory characters like coke, nike and record companies, and now hes trying to make a quick buck on the latest trend, and the end product doesn't even look that nice.

Hey BMMF
Do you know the location of the above Carlton? -

i have to say i like it

Yeah. At least the front matches the back with that one. Looks like you might be able to fit 27" wheels on it as well maybe?
Has anyone else seen the horrific Fuji/Obey in the Rathbone Place Evans? It's pretty disgusting and incredibly overpriced. Kinda funky stem though.
