Frame to put stuff on

Posted on
  • Bought a spotless blue Raleigh frame a few weeks ago. It must be late 80's but brand new. Can't decide what kit to put on it, if I put cheaper stuff on it I will get to ride it sooner but I'm in love with a new Dura Ace chainset but can't justify it. Those FSA Chainsets with free bottom bracket at Pearsons look like a good deal at the moment? I was thinking of putting a brown Charge spoon saddle with brown handle bar tape on alloy coloured bars and stem. Can anyone suggest a quill stem which looks a bit more modern or would you put a quill/aheadset converter on for more choice? Can anyone recommend wheels £80 -£150? Give me some guidance here...

    Cheers

  • not sure if anyone has bought from this guy before, but would be interested to know what people have to say.

  • buy some australian wheels from america on an online auction site when you live in Great Britain?

Bought some super-cheap cross-top levers here.

    No probs.

Scored my Deep-Vs from benscycle a couple of years back.

Got royally fucked by Customs and ParcelFarce.

bought a pair of mtb cranks (raceface diabolus) from them
    no problems at all

  • The Charge Spoon is the most comfortable saddle I've ever parted my £20 with, for that much I was expecting a moderate amount of comfortness, but damn 11 miles and it's still comfortable as fuck.
