Omega was run by Mark Reilly . He probaly wasn't the best businessman in the world but knew how to make frames. Omega folded and Mark was employed by Jim Walker (of Jim Walker Ltd,the importers of Campag , Northwave and other stuff) to design frames for his new company Enigma after Jim sold his Jim Walker company a year ago- hopefully that makes sense.
I have an Enigma road bike designed by Mark and it appears he certainly knows about frames as it is definatly the best I've ridden.
Both Mark and Jim are really nice guys and Mark will always answer questions about old omega frames etc. www.enigmabikes.co.uk

Does he answer questions like "what happened to my deposit you thieving bastard?" A LOT of people were left owing money when Omega went to the wall.

Don't get me wrong , I don't agree with how he ran his business , but I do know that Jim has done his best to help out as many people as he can . Mark is employed to design frames and nothing else for Enigma.

I've got one of the omegas....tiny frame...heaps good for fu*king about on, and is the perfect size for the girlfriend too. build seems pretty good and real surdy. Would recomend one to anyone that's looking.

looks a nice frame to me on a 52 at the moment so prob too big for which tis a shame, especially with the brighton connections
-

Are you sure that's a 54, looks more like a 51 or 52? I know there's an extra cm or two on the seat tube but the head tube looks very short. Have you measured it c-c cos I think you may have measured it c-t

ill do another measure, lost my tape measure and was going on the measurements i bought it on, will get a measure tomorrow from work and do it again. goes to back of class to do homework. also got some drop bars from the Fuji ill throw in too.

Having remeasured its 50cm from centre bb to centre of toptube, seat post bit sticks up about 3cm.
top tube is 53cm, centre of seat to centre of head tube. also i will be taking the headset + stem
so its Frame, forks, BB, fuji drops and the addition of cranks (165, 48 chainring), for 220.if no one bites up to the bay with it.
