One's ricing, once mashing tho - different dishes.
I was going full fluffy, I'd be mucking about with egg whites, sieves and other nonsense.

Instead of doing what I normally do at lunchtime - obtaining something notionally "healthy" from m&s, pret or whereever and eating at my desk like a sad person, I walked up the road to Speedy's snack establishment on N Gower Street:
Egg
Bacon
Tomatoes
Black pudding
Chips
Toast
TeaApple pie
CustardFtw.
God, I really enjoyed that.

I bet that was an awesome cup of tea? Nearly hot enough to scald on first sip?

You were that close to a Diwana buffet and didn't take up that option?
Fail.

Can always have the vege buffet thing tomorrow. I did look in the window - looked good.

Over the years I must have appeared in hundreds of photos that Sherlock fans have taken whilst I've been at Speedy's getting lunch.

Well, of course, the proper cafe tea comes from a stainless steel kettle, like treacle, and then is diluted with hot water "to taste".
This tea came with a tea bag, so a touch disappoint, but it was well hot and I did enjoy.

I slow cooked lambs hearts today. With root veg and peppers.

Greenwich evening eats. Informal. Not wildly spenny but decent enough. Any cuisine.

Great steak and Argentinian wine

I like the idea of only eating the animals that are not fast enough to run away. (I mis-read your post as cooked slow lambs hearts)

About to put these poorly tied bad boys into the oven to get the crackling going and then get them cooking slow and low for the time I'm out having boozy brunch say 4 hrs.
Pork belly marinated in soy, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper and cumin, then stuffed with some diced mushrooms, bread crumbs and shallots.Hoping the crackling comes out better than my last failed never quite hot enough previous attempt..

Been watching Mind of a Chef on Netflix, bloody good... The poached egg in a shell trick in one episode is fantastic, really want a little sous-vide set-up so I can make them at home...

Id get a food mill rather than a ricer.
Something German. Superb for gnocchi also.
