Wanted: Hey Im a new girl in London from Chicago in need of an ok bike :)

Hey London, my names Agatha and I just graduated University and moved to London for a few months to make some money/live. I had to sell my beautiful lilac single speed with coaster bike before I left to have some more money so I am now bikeless and semi friendless.

So I was wondering if anyone would rent out an extra bike they might have or if i could help build a super cheap one (Im sleeping on my cousins floor in Victoria so dont have the space/tools/knowledge of how to).

Im only here for a few months but am so used to the Chicago riding scene of fixed and single speeds that I cant give it up.

So if you wanna help me out, that would be awesome. I really wanna ride around in this city with some cool people who like to ride too.

Chicago is a great city, especially for riding fixed/ss cause it is almost completely flat. But we kinda have shit weather.

Still on the hunt for someone willing to give up a bike for 200 ish pounds. My feet are aching from walking and I need to get to know London on 2 wheels.

Still have to stalk out this Alexis girl and Brick Lane bikes.

alexis IS a lovely person, and the OCW is fantastic (i got my bike there), however we do have a couple of random frames here at ours, one of which you could probably use, especially if you were interested in just borrowing the bike while you're over here.

as matt (smallbrownbike) suggusted, you should come over for open toolbox and breakfast this sunday morning and maybe we can get something sorted out for you.

oh the horror! i wasn't suggusting that she take one of those off our hands. there wasn't one single decent frame in the lot.

matt has kindly arranged all of them into a nice giant shit bike tower in the corner, so it's a bit tidier.

haha i might do that. what time and where is this breakfast at? hope one of these frames might fit me. i like building, but i know almost nothing other than how to true a wheel, change a few spokes and paint (not well ps). so just warning.
