I don't think you'll get beter prices than 7dayshop.com. I get my film processed locally but here's a thread from a UK film Flickr group that might be useful http://www.flickr.com/groups/ishootfilmuk/discuss/72157603889490204/

This place is good for B&W films. http://www.retrophotographic.com/films.htm
Retail only; no processing.
For processing, check out the back pages of Amateur Photographer for adverts. -

Another excellent place (if you're in London you can collect; but I'm sure they'll post also) is:

A lot of universities will have an open access darkroom, and sometimes (like mine) actually develop your film for you for free.
Security in Universities is crap, you can pretty much walk in and blag anything you want if your polite.

I know it's fujifilms site but I find it useful when out of reach of my local suppliers and desperate.Linky - http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/professional/home.html
Just hit up the link for where to buy film.
PS. no I don't work for fuji

Dredge alert!
I wanted to tap up the photography community, is there a good place where I can get above average digital developing done in London? It doesn't have to be uber professional but above Snappy Snaps would be nice.
I'm new to digital photography (just got a Pana GX1) so am pretty clueless as to the best way to develop the pics...

Late to the party but wanted to post this in case of somebody using the search... Stay far away from Camden Kodak Express in London, they offer BW processing but don't know what the hell they are doing. They ruined two rolls of mine last month and then had the gall to try and blame me when it was obviously an error processing. Avoid at all costs!

Maybe they changed their staff? They used to be very good, and I have happily recommended them in the past. Very sad change of quality.

I develop and scan all my Film, both B&W and Colour(C41). It is as easy as cooking a good meal and can be cheaper than most shops. I do not have a darkroom, just some spiral tanks that I heat up in my kitchen sink.
For B&W I use Kodak D76, for Colour I use Tetenals C-41 rapid fluids kit.It really is as easy as i said above, try it out. One thing to mention is that you do need to be developing a couple of films each week to make it worthwhile (chemicals expire), if you hardly ever develop any films then a shop is still your best bet.
Does anyone know a good place to get film developed (B&W and Colour) and also to get film. Has to be mailable because I'm not in London.
I have used 7dayshop.com to get films and it seems quite cheap.
